Dr. Gang Fang, Ph.D.

President & CEO & Chairman of the Board

Dr. Fang has a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in numerical and applied mathematics respectively, from Xi’an Jiaotong University in China, and in 1993 obtained a Ph. D. in coding theory from the Eindhoven University of Technology in Holland. Dr. Fang has 20 years of senior management experience in Asia, Europe and North America. He has held executive positions with Royal Philips Components, ASML B.V., Tianfa Petroleum Co. Ltd, Dussmann Group, Oriental Energy Co., and Great United Petroleum Holding Co., Ltd.

Bob McCuaig, P.Eng.

Vice President Operations

Mr. McCuaig is a professional engineer with 33 years’ experience in the petroleum and natural gas industry. Mr. McCuaig has a strong background in operations and executive and management experience in the exploration and production, energy services and transportation sectors of the industry. Prior to joining Anterra, he was VP Engineering & Business Development for Anadime Corporation, a TSX listed company.

Norm Knecht, CA

VP Finance & CFO

Mr. Knecht is a Chartered Accountant with 40 years’ experience, 18 years in the oil & gas industry as CFO of publicly listed companies. Prior to Anterra, Mr. Knecht was CFO of Terrex Energy Inc., a company acquired by Anterra in March of 2013 and prior to that, he was CFO of Compton Petroleum Corporation, a company listed on the TSX and NYSE. Mr. Knecht has extensive experience in financial reporting, private and public debt and equity financings, acquisitions and investor relations.

Robin Thorsen, B. Comm, PLM

Land Manager

Ms. Thorsen holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary with a concentration in Petroleum Land Management and has in excess of 15 year’s progressive land experience in the petroleum and natural gas industry in Western Canada.

Christopher Lee, P.Geol.

Senior Geologist

Mr. Lee is a professional geologist with over 30 years of experience, including extensive experience in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin in addition to experience internationally and in the frontier areas of Canada.  Mr. Lee holds a B.Sc. Geology degree from the University of Toronto and most recently has focused on generating and developing light oil plays in north and central Alberta where he has been successful in the discovery and development, through to secondary recovery, of a number of oil and gas plays.
